Starting on March 19, 2024, we will be conducting an email verification process for all users logging into Ameego on the desktop/laptop version of Ameego. This will be followed shortly after on the Ameego App.
Note: If you have already done the email verification on the desktop version of Ameego you will not be prompted to verify again on the Ameego App.
The goal of conducting this process is that all Ameego users will have a valid email address in their profile. This will facilitate several future developments including the ability to login to Ameego with an email address rather than a Client ID.
We would like to ask that you send a message to all of your team members about this so they are prepared to verify their email address or create an email address if they don’t already have one.
We have prepared a message below that you can copy, and paste into an Ameego Inbox message to your team. Please ensure you add your Ameego client ID in the red text highlighted area below. We have attached a doc at the bottom of this page that you can print, edit and post in your staff areas as well.

Hello,
Ameego will be conducting an email verification process when logging into Ameego on a desktop/laptop computer. This will be followed shortly after on the Ameego App as well.
After entering your normal login credentials (Username, Password and Client ID), you will be prompted to type in a valid email address in the space provided.
As a reminder, here is the client ID for our location: (enter your client ID here).
If you already have an email address in your Ameego profile, the field will be auto-filled with that email address for you to use or change. You will then be sent a 5 digit code to that email address that you will be required to enter on the login page to complete the Ameego login.
Once you have successfully completed the email verification once, you will not be prompted to do this again on the desktop or the App.
Tip: To be prepared for this, please ensure that your Ameego profile is up to date with a valid email address that is readily accessible.
Tip: If you do not already have an email address, please create one and ensure that it is available on your smartphone so it is readily accessible.
