Updates to Fixed Labour

We have updated how you enter your fixed labour in Ameego!

Previously, you could only set a weekly value which was automatically divided equally by 7 and applied to each day of the week in intel reports, time & attendance, the dashboards and schedule pages.

We have now changed this so you can choose the amount to apply to each day of the week.

Daily fixed labour will allow you to assign a value to each day of the week that will be included in your scheduled and actual labour in Ameego. This setting is typically used to represent your managers salaries in Ameego.

You can apply fixed labour in your department group settings as well as the schedule page for any particular scheduling week. Please note the following:

  • If you set fixed labour in your department group settings, then it will only be applied to new scheduling weeks as they are created.
  • If you set or adjust fixed labour on your schedule page, then it will only apply to that week.

*Note: If you previously had a weekly fixed labour value setup in Ameego, it has automatically been equally divided by 7 and applied to each day of the week in the new daily setting fields. You can overwrite any day of the week with a new value if required.

Here is how to set these parameters in both areas of Ameego.

People, Employee Manager page

  1. Navigate to the People tab, then the Employee Manager sub tab.
  2. Click the ‘Manage’ button on the upper left area of the page.
  3. Click the ‘Edit’ button within a department group that you want to apply fixed labour to.
  4. Add a value to each day of the week in the ‘Default Fixed Labour’ section. *Remember, entering values in this area will only be applied to new schedule weeks when you click the ‘Calculate Forecast' button.
  5. Click ‘Save Changes’.
