We have recently updated our Intel reports in Ameego. Some of these changes are also reflected on the Time & Attendance and Schedule pages in terms of reporting. Though the reports did not undergo any major structure changes, the changes that we did make were for the purpose of displaying consistent sales and labour data throughout the platform.
What was updated?
Wage Multiplier
If you have a wage multiplier set in any of your department groups or weekly labour cards, this will be reflected in all Ameego reports, Time & Attendance and Schedule pages. This setting will be applied to actual and scheduled labour. Though we did not add columns to identify the value of the wage multiplier in most reports, the value has been added to the shift and total costs in the reports.
Fixed Labour
If you have a fixed labour value set in any of your department groups or weekly labour cards, this will be reflected in all Ameego Reports, Time & Attendance and Schedule pages. This setting will be applied to actual and scheduled labour. Some reports have a column that displays the value of the fixed labour if we felt that there was sufficient room for the data column, but all reports included fixed labour in the total cost columns.
Statutory Premium Pay
If your location has the payroll module added AND your settings indicate that you want to include premium pay, then this will be reflected in all Ameego Reports, Time & Attendance and Schedule pages. This setting will be applied to actual and scheduled labour.
It is important to know that statutory premium pay is not statutory pay, but is the wage increase incurred if the employee worked on the statutory holiday. For most provinces this is 1.5 x the wage rate.
It is also important to know that we assume that ALL employees qualify for premium pay in reports, whereas your actual payroll export will not apply the premium pay if the employee did not qualify.
Break Rules
Ameego’s Global Settings allows you to create a break rule which applies an unpaid break to a shift if it meets or exceeds the specified shift length. Break rules will always apply to scheduled labour and there is a separate option to apply the break rule(s) to actual labour. Depending on your platform's settings, Ameego will reflect the break rule(s) in all Ameego reports, Time & Attendance and Schedule pages for actual and scheduled labour.
All Settings that affect Ameego’s Reporting
There are other settings in Ameego that have always been reflected in the Reports, Time & Attendance and Schedule pages. This has not changed in this update.
